Campaign description
One 21 Trusted Circle is a consumer-initiated safety-notification program that allows users to connect trusted contacts who may receive safety alerts and related service notifications. Trusted contacts are not enrolled automatically. A recipient must independently opt in by texting JOIN to (701) 291-1710. One 21 then sends a confirmation disclosure and requests a Y response before recurring messages begin. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of One 21.
Campaign Call to Action (CTA)
A One 21 user may add a trusted person's mobile number as a pending contact, but adding that number does not create SMS consent. The recipient reviews the public opt-in page at https://www.my121.org/sms-opt-in, then independently texts JOIN from their own mobile phone to (701) 291-1710. One 21 sends the required disclosures and asks the recipient to reply Y. Ongoing Trusted Circle messages are enabled only after the recipient replies Y.

Message flow
Step 1 — Pending contact: A One 21 user adds a trusted person's name and mobile number. This creates a pending contact only and does not constitute SMS consent.
Step 2 — Public disclosure: The recipient reviews the consent disclosures at https://www.my121.org/sms-opt-in.
Step 3 — Consumer-initiated JOIN: The recipient independently texts JOIN from the same mobile number to (701) 291-1710.
Step 4 — Final confirmation: One 21 sends the required disclosure and asks the recipient to reply Y. No ongoing Trusted Circle SMS is activated until Y is received.
Step 5 — Ongoing control: The recipient may reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for assistance. To re-enroll after opting out, the recipient begins the opt-in process again.
